Inbox Control · personal setup + tools you keep

Same sender. Same folder. Again?Give that decision a memory.

Work through the first round with Pierre Boutquin, who built Inbox Control, in one 60-minute working session.

Save sender decisions as readable rules. Use the dashboard to review messages and draft the reply that needs you.

We set up the tools and work through your first backlog round together. Review moves before approval. Keep the tools; run later rounds yourself.

Your own suitable paid AI plan supplies the assistant. Inbox Control adds personal setup, the mail connection, saved decisions and dashboard review. Use Codex desktop with your ChatGPT account, or Claude Desktop. Bring Gmail, Outlook / Microsoft 365, iCloud, HEY or IMAP mail. Your OpenAI or Anthropic service processes mail the assistant reads under your account settings and terms.

Sound familiar?

Save the filing decision. Review the reply that needs you.

Three moments to recognise:

I opened this to answer someone. Where is their email?

Keep the receipt. Just get it out of the way.

Same sender. Same folder. Again.

There is a difference between deciding where a receipt belongs and deciding what to say to someone waiting for your reply. Yet both messages arrive together. File the receipt by hand, and the reason may stay in your head, ready to become the same job again.

Keep the filing decision. Come back to the reply.

Save a sender rule for matching mail. Use the dashboard to review the messages and draft replies that still need your judgment.

How your rules work

Give the next matching receipt a rule to follow.

Suppose you want receipts from a particular sender kept in Receipts because you need them for your records. Write the sender, destination and reason in your ledger. We start by counting sender volume across the whole mailbox, so you can choose the largest senders first. Review proposed moves before approving the first round.

Keep the reason

You filed the receipt. Later, you wonder why you chose that folder.

The sender ledger keeps your decision and reason in a readable file on your computer. Open it to check what you chose or change it.

Name what belongs

A folder name leaves you to decide what belongs there each time.

Say which messages belong in Receipts, or another category you choose. Later rounds use your category descriptions along with the sender decisions you approved.

Reuse what you approve

The next message from that sender waits for another decision.

A sweep applies approved rules to matching mail and records what happened. It checks the exact messages and destination, then confirms the mail server's reply. Uncertain moves are not counted as done; uncertain decisions come back to you.

The saved rule handles matching mail. You can change it later and move filed messages back yourself in your mail app while they remain available. Inbox Control never permanently deletes mail; your provider may remove messages from Trash after its usual time limit.

What the hour covers

Why I built this

The last five were the reason to do it.

My inbox held 231,349 emails. I worked through the backlog one round at a time:

  1. 231,349 At the start
  2. 40,574 After a round
  3. 20,133 The next round
  4. 5,719 The next round
  5. 5 After further rounds

Those five needed my attention. They had been lost in the sea of emails. I could not get to zero without acting on them first. Now I could see what I needed to do.

Pierre Boutquin, founder of CurioChat

This is my own inbox, over multiple rounds. Your starting point, decisions and results will be different.

Those five were work for me to do. Filing matching mail could bring them into view; it could not answer them for me. In our session, I guide your first round. You run later rounds yourself, at your own pace, and act on the messages that need you.

The session

Bring your access. We work through the setup together.

Our 60-minute working session covers connection, guided setup and the first backlog round. We walk through the steps for continuing with your dashboard and sender ledger. You run later rounds; the optional review checks new mail within 30 days of our session.

  1. After checkout, before we meet

Book your hour and bring your access

After payment, use the booking link to choose your session. Bring a computer you control, Codex desktop or Claude Desktop ready and signed in, and your own suitable paid plan. Have mailbox access and permission to add software and connect mail. We handle the product setup together. Workplace rules still apply. You do not need to sort the inbox before we meet.

  2. At the start of the session

Count the senders before choosing the work

Choose Codex desktop with your ChatGPT account, or Claude Desktop with your Claude account. We set up the Inbox Pack, custom mail connection and dashboard on your computer. Then we count the mail from each sender to see who sends you the most.

  3. Together in the session

Make your first decisions with me beside you

Look at the senders with the most mail. Decide where their messages belong, review the proposed moves and approve the first round. The dashboard shows the messages, reasons and results. You can follow what happened to a decision you just made.

  4. After the session

Keep going at your own pace

Open the dashboard, review your saved sender decisions and follow the steps for another backlog round. You run later rounds at your own pace. After training, rule approval and a successful scheduled-process test, four routines can apply approved rules and bring new decisions back to you.

  5. Within 30 days, if you want it

    An optional 30-minute review

After a sweep has run on new mail, you can book a 30-minute review within 30 days of the working session. We review what the sweep did and adjust your rules together.

Fit

Is this the kind of help you want?

This is for you if

  • You want one to three mailboxes to follow your saved decisions, rather than repeatedly filing matching mail by hand.
  • Your mail is Gmail, Outlook / Microsoft 365, iCloud, HEY, or an IMAP mailbox such as Namecheap Private Email.
  • You control your computer and have Codex desktop or Claude Desktop ready, with your own suitable paid AI plan.
  • You are ready to choose sender rules and work through the remaining backlog yourself.
  • You want to check a message's reason, review a draft and see the decision history.

This is not for you if

  • You cannot authorise a mail connection on your account. Check your workplace rules before buying.
  • You want someone to manage your inbox for you from here on. Ongoing management is not included.
  • You want replies sent for you. The assistant never sends, replies, forwards or unsubscribes.
  • You need a team-wide rollout. Email Pierre at hello@curiochat.com to discuss a separate offer.
  • You want us to clear the whole backlog during the session. We work through the first round; you run later rounds yourself.

Your seat

Founding rate

Five founding seats at $300.

$300 USD

plus applicable tax, paid once, for one of the five founding seats. Includes one mailbox. No subscription and no instalments.

After the five founding seats, a seat is $500.

Ask within thirty days from payment for a full refund, no questions asked: no reason, no conversation and nothing to return.

No buyer has had an Inbox Control session yet; you would be among the first, working directly with me.

The founding price is for going first. The five founding seats are for the first five people through, and they do not come back.

More than one inbox?

One mailbox is included. Add up to two more at checkout for $50 USD each, plus applicable tax. That is three mailboxes total, on the same computer. The same thirty-day refund covers extra mailbox fees.

Each option adds one mailbox. Select the first extra mailbox, then add one more if you need it. Leave both options unselected to keep just the included mailbox.

Which providers do your mailboxes use?

Select all that apply, up to three. This lists your providers; it does not connect to mail or confirm account permission. If two mailboxes use the same provider, select it once. Choose extra mailboxes at checkout. After payment, use the booking link to choose your session.

Select one to three providers.

Unsure whether your account or workplace allows this setup? Before buying, email me at hello@curiochat.com. Inbox Control brings questions like yours to my attention.

Your AI plan supplies the assistant. Here is what your seat adds.

  • A first round beside the builder: one 60-minute session with Pierre for the connection, guided setup and first backlog round. Review proposed moves before approving them.
  • A starting point you can count: sender volume across the whole mailbox. Choose the largest senders first.
  • A reason you can revisit: the readable sender ledger saves each decision and why you made it. Review or change either.
  • A place for the next decision: review messages and reasons, edit draft replies and check decision history in your dashboard.
  • Tools for the next round: keep the mail connection, Inbox Pack and local folder of rules, inbox files and drafts. Follow the steps at your own pace.
  • A record of scheduled work: after training, rule approval and a successful scheduled-process test, use daily filing with optional AI review, weekly review, monthly IMAP counts and a separate dashboard update.
  • A second look at new mail: an optional 30-minute review within 30 days of our session to check a sweep and adjust rules together.

What you bring

  • Bring Codex desktop or Claude Desktop ready and signed in. Bring mailbox access and permission to add software and connect mail. We set up the Inbox Pack, custom mail connection and dashboard together.
  • Choose Codex desktop with your ChatGPT account, or Claude Desktop with your Claude account. Your suitable paid AI plan is separate from the seat. Your OpenAI or Anthropic service processes mail the assistant reads under your account settings and terms.
  • Gmail, Outlook / Microsoft 365, iCloud, HEY and IMAP mailboxes such as Namecheap Private Email are covered. Your account and workplace must allow the connection.
  • Gmail uses an app password: a separate password for this mail connection. It needs 2-Step Verification, which adds a sign-in check. Some work, school and Advanced Protection accounts do not allow app passwords.
  • One mailbox is included. Add up to two more at checkout; each extra mailbox has its own optional charge, shown beside the seat price.

Your seat covers the working session, retained tools and optional review. Later backlog rounds are yours to run. The pack and board licence is perpetual, non-exclusive and non-transferable, for use inside your own business. The terms you accept at checkout govern the work.

Before you decide

Keep your sign-in details. Keep the right to a refund.

Two questions before checkout: who gets your sign-in details, and what happens if you want your money back?

  • A full refund for thirty days, no questions asked

Ask within thirty days of payment and we refund the full price. You need no reason, no conversation and nothing to return. Asking changes nothing else you have with CurioChat Academy. If your setup does not fit when we look at it together, we stop the work and the same refund applies.

    Ask, and it is refunded.

  • Your mail sign-in stays with you

The work runs on your computer, with your own mail sign-in details. CurioChat Academy never asks for, receives or stores them, and cannot access your mailbox. In the session, you share your screen and choose what I see. Never type a password or access code into shared chat. If one appears by accident, we stop until you replace it. Your chosen OpenAI or Anthropic service processes mail the assistant reads under your own account settings and terms.

You keep your mail sign-in details.

How it works

From your first saved rule to a record you can check.

The sender ledger grows through backlog rounds. Scheduling follows training, rule approval and a successful scheduled-process test. Each routine records what happened.

  1. First round together

Connect the mailbox, count senders and approve the first decisions with me beside you.

  2. Your next rounds

Follow the steps through the remaining backlog. Each round adds decisions and reasons to your sender ledger.

  3. Train and approve

Review and approve the rules, then test them with our guidance. Scheduling requires completed training, rule approval and a successful scheduled-process test in your chosen app.

  4. Four routines

Check new mail, review the week and count mailbox changes each month. A separate task keeps the dashboard and its warnings up to date.

  5. Needs your attention

Open the dashboard to review decisions, draft replies and warnings. Save your edits before approving a draft; copy it into your mail app to send. New rules still require your approval.

The dashboard you keep

Open the decision. See the reason. Choose the next step.

Find the message you want to answer, open its reason and review a draft. The dashboard keeps these steps and decision history together. Approving a draft records your review; you still copy it to your mail app and send it yourself.

See beyond the priority list

All Inbox shows every message from the last complete Inbox check. This includes messages marked held, snoozed or closed. Search the list and open "Why is this here?" to see the reason. The view shows when the check ran and warns you if any mail could be missing.

Draft here. Send when you decide.

Review and edit a proposed reply, then approve the exact text you saved. Approval records your review; it does not send mail. Copy the text into your mailbox when you are ready.

Each decision leaves a record. Decision history shows what you asked for and whether it is accepted, waiting or completed. When you save a decision, the view updates.

After training

A routine should leave you something you can check.

Open a routine's record to check filed messages or work through the weekly review. The separate dashboard refresh keeps warnings visible even when the mail check fails.

Daily

Screen new arrivals

Approved rules file mail that matches them. AI triage means a review of the mail left after filing. If you enable it, your chosen AI reviews those messages and brings uncertain decisions back to you.

You get: A record of filed mail and a list of messages to review.

Weekly

Review what needs a decision

See the week's open items, suggested rule changes and draft replies in one review. Choose what to approve, edit, hold or dismiss.

You get: A weekly review you can work through.

First Sunday of each month

See how the mailbox changed

Count the messages in each folder of your IMAP mailbox, and the mail from each sender still in your Inbox. Flag rules with more matches than expected and folders that have received no newer mail.

You get: Updated counts and changes to review.

Daily health refresh

Know when results are stale

Update the dashboard from saved data, without connecting to your mailbox. This separate task keeps warnings visible even if the mail check fails.

You get: An updated dashboard that shows when mail checks or scheduled tasks need help.

Daily filing does not create new rules or send replies. You approve new decisions and send replies yourself.

You choose the routine times. The separate dashboard update starts at 07:23 by default; you can change that time. It can use saved data without a mail connection. The computer must be awake for any scheduled routine to run.

The task runs on your computer, in Codex desktop for OpenAI or Claude Desktop for Anthropic. On Windows, Task Scheduler can run the filing and reports. Your chosen AI still handles AI review. We check that the task exists in the right app and that its first run succeeds. A normal ChatGPT browser conversation cannot start these local tasks. Remote hosting, a service that runs the tasks for you, is not included.

Check the routine, not just the inbox

See when each schedule was last checked, whether a test run passed, and which messages still need AI review.

Keep a review you can read

The weekly report lists messages held for review, messages brought back from filing, suggested rules and a sample of confirmed moves. You keep the report on your computer.

Built for this workflow

A proposed move is not a completed move.

The included connection reads mail, moves the messages you approve and checks what the mail server reports. We set up this software, called a custom MCP server, together.

  • Read without changing read status

Reading a message through the mail connection does not mark it as read. Reading and acting are separate steps.

  • Move the message you approved

Inbox Control checks the exact messages and destination before a move, then checks the mail server's reply. A confirmed move is marked as done. Confirmation shows the move happened; you still decide whether the rule is right for your mail.

  • Show when a result is uncertain

If a message changes or a move cannot be confirmed, Inbox Control keeps a record for you to review. It does not count an uncertain move as a success.

The mail connection, dashboard and Inbox Pack use the same decisions. A sweep applies the rules you approved and records the result. Your sign-in details stay in your own setup; CurioChat Academy never receives them.

Who you work with

I built it. I will be there for the first round.

Pierre Boutquin, photographed against a white brick wall.
Pierre Boutquin Built the Inbox Pack

The person in the session

Who is Pierre Boutquin?

I am Pierre Boutquin. I built the CurioChat Inbox Pack to count mail by sender, record your decisions and apply your rules. I have taken real mailboxes through a full round on Gmail, iCloud and HEY. The pack also runs on Namecheap Private Email over IMAP. Before CurioChat I spent 36 years on bank systems that had to keep working.

Background

  • Built Inbox Control, its custom mail connection and the CurioChat Inbox Pack
  • Ran real mailboxes through the pack on Gmail, iCloud, HEY and IMAP
  • Spent 36 years on bank systems that had to keep working before CurioChat

We work on your own mailbox. You bring the judgment about your senders; I guide the tools and the process. Each rule in your sender ledger records a decision you made and the reason behind it.

Questions

Before you buy.

What is the founding price?

$300 plus applicable tax, paid once, for one of the five founding seats. After those five, a seat is $500. The refund is the same at either price: in full, no questions asked, for thirty days from payment. No buyer has had an Inbox Control session yet. The founding price is for going first.

What am I paying for if I already have ChatGPT or Claude?

Your AI plan supplies the assistant. Your Inbox Control seat adds the mail connection, dashboard and saved rules for this workflow. It also includes a 60-minute session with Pierre to set up the tools and work through the first round together. You keep the tools for later rounds, with an optional 30-minute review within 30 days of the session.

What do I need before the session?

Bring a computer you control, with Codex desktop or Claude Desktop ready and signed in. You need a suitable paid AI plan and access to your mailbox, including any sign-in code. You also need permission to add software and connect mail. We set up the Inbox Pack, mail connection and dashboard together. You pay for your AI plan separately. Keep a backup of anything you cannot afford to lose.

Do I need to figure out the technical setup first?

No. We set up the product together. Have your chosen AI app ready and know how to sign in to your mail. If work manages your computer or mailbox, get permission first. We cannot bypass workplace rules.

Will we finish my whole backlog during the session?

We set up the product and work through the first round together. You run later rounds yourself, at your own pace. A large backlog can take several rounds. We bring the messages that need your attention into view. You still need to decide what to do or send a reply before you can clear them.

Which mail providers are covered?

Gmail, Outlook / Microsoft 365, iCloud, HEY and IMAP mailboxes such as Namecheap Private Email. IMAP is a way for software to read and manage mail on your mail server. Your account and workplace must allow the connection. Gmail needs an app password and 2-Step Verification. Some work, school and Advanced Protection accounts do not allow app passwords. Other IMAP accounts need IMAP turned on and the sign-in method your provider requires. If your mailbox does not fit when we check it together, we stop the work. The thirty-day refund applies in full.

Can I bring more than one mailbox?

Yes. One mailbox is included, and you can add up to two more at checkout, on the same computer. Each optional addition covers one extra mailbox; choose the first, then add one more if you need it. Additional mailbox fees are listed beside the seat price and included in your checkout total. Extra mailboxes add connection and setup work; you still run later backlog rounds yourself.

When is the working session?

You book it after payment, from the booking link you are given once checkout completes. The optional review is booked within 30 days of the working session.

Is this a subscription?

No. The seat is paid once, with no subscription and no instalment plan. Your OpenAI or Anthropic plan is separate and paid by you. Any AI usage charges are your own.

Will you see my mail?

Only what you choose to show while we work. You share your screen and stay in control. We record nothing unless you ask us to. Outside the session, CurioChat Academy cannot access your mailbox and never receives your mail sign-in details.

Does anything else read my mail?

The assistant uses your own OpenAI or Anthropic account. That service processes the mail your assistant reads, under your account's settings and terms. CurioChat Academy is not part of that path.

How do I get a refund?

Write to hello@curiochat.com within thirty days of payment and it is refunded in full. No reason, no conversation and nothing to return.

What if my setup turns out not to fit?

If your setup does not fit once we look at it together, the engagement stops and the thirty-day refund applies in full.

What do I keep?

Your mail, sender ledger, saved files and decisions stay yours. CurioChat Academy keeps no copies. You keep the dashboard, custom mail connection and Inbox Pack steps. Your seat includes a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the pack and board inside your own business. You can keep using them, but cannot transfer the licence to someone else. Resale, redistribution, teaching from them, sublicensing and publication are not included.

What is not included?

We do not manage your inbox for you or clear the whole backlog during the session. We do not send or reply to mail for you. The offer covers the agreed mailboxes, one working session and the optional review. Extra sessions and support after the work ends are not included. Extra mailboxes are optional additions to your checkout total.

Can I use ChatGPT instead of Claude?

Yes. Choose Codex desktop with your ChatGPT account, or Claude Desktop with your Claude account. We set up the tools for your choice on your computer. A normal ChatGPT browser conversation cannot use these local files and tools. Your plan must include access to the app features this work needs.

Can the sweep run on a schedule?

Yes, after training, rule approval and a successful scheduled-process test. Scheduled tasks run in Codex desktop or Claude Desktop. On Windows, Task Scheduler can run filing and reports; your chosen AI handles AI review. You choose the times and can pause or remove the routines. The computer must be awake and the required app available. Mail checks also need a working mail connection. A normal ChatGPT browser conversation cannot run these local tasks. Remote hosting, a service that runs the tasks for you, is not included.

What does the sweep do to my mail?

A sweep applies your approved rules to matching mail and records the result. Reading a message through the connection does not mark it as read. The selected messages and their destination must pass the checks before a move. Uncertain results stay visible for review. The workflow never sends a reply, forwards mail, unsubscribes or permanently deletes mail. You can move filed messages back in your mail app while they remain available. Your mail provider may remove messages from Trash after its usual time limit.

Does the dashboard show everything in my mailbox?

All Inbox shows every Inbox message from the last complete mail check, including held, snoozed and closed items. It shows when the check ran and warns if any mail could be missing. This is a saved view you can refresh. It does not replace every folder in your mail app. The separate sender count used during setup covers the whole mailbox.

What is the custom MCP server for?

The custom MCP server is the software that connects Inbox Control to your mailbox. MCP is the shared format that lets your AI tool use that connection. It provides set ways to read mail, choose exact messages to move and check the result. You review the decisions in the dashboard. The Inbox Pack applies rules you approved.

Can I approve a draft without sending it?

Yes. Save your edits, then approve that exact saved text in the dashboard. Approval records that you reviewed it; it does not send the message. Copy the draft into your mail app and send it yourself when you are ready.

What if I need more than three mailboxes?

Email Pierre at hello@curiochat.com. Tell me how many mailboxes you want to connect, and we can agree on the work and price.

Have a question?

Email me at hello@curiochat.com. Inbox Control brings questions like yours to my attention.

The receipt has a rule. The reply needs you.

No buyer has had an Inbox Control session yet. Bring your inbox as it is; you do not need to sort it first. We start with the familiar senders and save your decisions for matching mail. Choose your providers and continue to checkout. After payment, use the booking link to choose our session.

  • One 60-minute working session with Pierre, on your computer. One mailbox included.
  • Guided setup, a sender count and the first backlog round together.
  • Dashboard, connection and saved rules for later rounds you run yourself.
  • Optional 30-minute review within 30 days of the session: check new mail and adjust rules.
  • $300 plus applicable tax for one of the five founding seats, paid once, refundable in full for thirty days from payment.

P.S.: The five founding seats do not come back. After them a seat is $500, with the same unconditional full refund within thirty days from payment.

P.P.S.: Keep your mail sign-in details in your own setup; CurioChat Academy never receives them. Your chosen OpenAI or Anthropic service processes mail the assistant reads under your own account.
